DCS Design recently completed the interior design of Ireland-based energy management company Hanley Energy’s new 36,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Ashburn, VA. The design of the space represents Hanley Energy’s steadfast commitment to a sustainable future and healthy work environment. A biophilic wall at the main lobby and reception creates the first statement for staff and visitors. Exposed open ceilings with large skylights create an abundance of natural light throughout the office and warehouse areas. Warm wood grain textures for flooring and adjustable shades in breakout seating areas promote a calming connection to the outdoors and nature. Hanley Energy’s iconic green corporate color is also featured through pops of color throughout the space, reinforcing their brand and creating a vibrant, energetic environment.
