While WELL Building Standard (WELL) remains a leading channel for advancing the health and well-being of buildings globally, two additional certifications, WELL Health-Safety Rating and Fitwel, are available to ensure businesses, large and small, have access to the best science-based health and safety practices and third-party certifications.
WELL Health—Safety Ratings
You’ve most likely seen the public service announcements advocated by a variety of celebrity ambassadors. Informed by WELL Building Standard (WELL), the WELL Health-Safety Rating is focused on operational policies, maintenance protocols and emergency plans to address future health and safety-related issues.
WELL Health-Safety focuses on six core areas: Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures, Emergency Preparedness Programs, Health Services Resources, Air and Water Quality Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Communication, Innovation
Certified buildings and spaces receive the WELL Health-Safety Seal to ensure employees and guests of the health of the space. A Health-Safety Rating also serves as an access point to full WELL certification.
