Skanska’s new Northern Virginia development office is located in one of their developed properties, 1776 Wilson Boulevard. The office is designed to showcase the property, as well as Skanska’s other development projects throughout the Metropolitan area. Images of their most relevant projects are prominently displayed on digital screens and through suspended, cable framing systems throughout the space. The office is designed as 100% open, with emphasis on collaboration and teaming.

Branding and Culture are prominent design elements throughout the space. The Skanska “S” is incorporated on glass and walls, as well as through a unique, dropped ceiling feature over low-partitioned workstations. In addition to a recognizable branding statement, the feature provides acoustical absorption in the open work area. The bright and energetic employee pantry is located on the window-line for staff to enjoy the outside views and abundance of natural light.

This project achieved LEED CI Platinum Certification.
