Govplace, a Federal Government technical solutions company, worked closely with Davis Carter Scott (DCS Design) on the design of their new 13,000 SF offices in Reston. Govplace is an open office environment with glass front offices and conference rooms. The new design factors in privacy concerns through the use of decorative window film and A/V walls. Multiple collaboration areas create separation between open areas and allow for flexible growth in the future. A variety of workstations were specified to meet the unique needs of the individual departments. The large pantry serves multiple uses as both a meeting space and lunch room with a variety of seating types and moveable furniture.
