Fairfax Radiology is the largest private radiology practice in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area with more than 70 sub-specialized Radiologists in Northern VA. In addition to providing outpatient imaging services, they provide services for Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Loudoun Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and The Fairfax MRI Center. DCS Design provided interior architectural services for the in-place renovation of two Fairfax locations. The projects ranged from 7,800 SF to 10,000 SF in size including new procedure rooms, exam rooms, recovery rooms, private offices, waiting areas, and employee lounges. The procedure and recovery areas underwent cleanroom performance testing and certification. The design blends blue accents with natural wood and off white finishes, provide a calm and relaxing environment while incorporating Fairfax Radiology’s branding in the space. Details such as custom millwork, full height decorative glass panels, pendant and specialty LED lighting create a boutique like atmosphere.
