DCS completed the interior architecture renovation of the Education Advisory Board’s (EAB) headquarters in Washington DC. The goal of the 95,000 square foot renovation was to better integrate the firm’s branding and mission throughout the entire space, including the entryway, conference rooms and hallways. The modern, clean design was added to new gathering areas throughout the multi-floor office. At the entrance, clients and staff are greeted by mission and value statements, along with the firm’s branding and colorful graphics, creating a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. Individual unique lobbies were designed on each of the floors to create a sense of place and to assist with wayfinding, as well as create identifiable, unique spaces within the larger office footprint. Located directly off the eighth-floor lobby, a new “Membership Area” was created to offer a large flexible conference center with break-out areas.
