DCS designed the relocation of Invictus Capital Partners to 2001 M St NW in Washington DC. The investment bank’s staff often works long hours so one of the design goals was to create a home-like comfortable and functional feel for the space. DCS chose warm wood and neutral gray finishes, and selected furniture for the phone rooms which have a residential feel. A smart and academic atmosphere for space is created by the many bookshelves throughout which exhibit a vast book and memorabilia collection owned by the firm management. The new office space includes multiple private offices and phone rooms, a pantry, one small and one large conference room, as well as open work areas.
