Union Privilege, Washington, DC
Representing the association’s unique brand and history was the design goal for Union Privilege. An industrial aesthetic is incorporated throughout the 15,000 SF space, which thematically represents association members and retirees of participating labor unions. A branding wall in the reception area commemorates and celebrates the history of unions through iconic imagery. Materials were chosen to project an industrial feel which include metal, non-processed wood, and glass. Additionally, it was critical to the client that all materials were manufactured within the USA and the space was built by union members.
