• Long-range Strategic Planning learn more
DCS assists clients in projecting growth and/or change over an extended period of years. The data gathered and analyzed during the planning and programming phases presents clients and their real estate partners with a snapshot of how their company/organization will look in projected years. DCS compares and analyzes client data against established benchmarks and trends. This in-depth analysis becomes the road map to helping determine relocation verses in-place renovation decision-making. This data also provides the framework for space planning/test-fitting from which building options will be analyzed and selected.
• Building Evaluations learn more
DCS recommends being brought in early in the decision-making process to assist clients and their real estate partners in selecting the appropriate building. Each client has unique needs, and choosing the correct building and space is imperative. Building Evaluation Services offered include:

The world-wide workforce is being affected by rapidly changing technology, work processes, sociological trends, and work culture. DCS can perform an in-depth Workplace Analysis to evaluate individual and group work processes and needs. The results of this analysis will become the roadmap for our client-focused design. Services offered included:
• Change Management Services learn more
As the workplace evolves and companies encourage and embrace a more open, collaborative, and team-based culture, Change Management has become a more prevalent consideration and need. Whether moving from an office-intensive environment to a more open configuration … studying how individuals and groups work, and then responding with the appropriate environment … or incorporating a more flexible, mobile work model … making staff feel comfortable and secure in their new workplace is imperative. DCS assists our clients in implementing a Change Management Plan which includes the following services.
• In-house 3-D Modeling Capabilities learn more
DCS utilizes Revit, a BIM (Building Information Modeling) platform, which allows our design team to build 3-D models in-house as an integral part of the design process. Clients can see their space evolve from 2-D plans to 3-D models during the schematic design phase, which greatly assists in understanding design concepts and details and decision-making. Virtual Tours of the space -- or “Fly-Through” animation -- is also developed in-house through the REVIT program.
• In-house Photo-Realistic Rendering Capabilities learn more
DCS utilizes Revit, a BIM (Building Information Modeling) platform, which allows our design team to build 3-D models in-house as an integral part of the design process. Computer-generated, photo-realistic renderings can be developed to communicate design refinement of key areas during the design development phase. In addition to architectural details, these life-like renderings include scanned materials and finishes, lighting sources and levels, and furniture selection and placement. This level of detail allows for expeditious decision-making, a great vehicle for sharing the design with staff, and no surprises at move-in. It’s often difficult to differentiate DCS’ renderings from the completed photos – they are that realistic!
• Furniture Selection and Specification learn more
DCS provides furniture selection and specification consulting services, and then assists our clients in purchasing their own furniture. DCS has made the decision not to procure furniture for our clients to avoid any appearance of alliances or relationships which could benefit us monetarily or influence our selection for our clients.
• Fine arts selection learn more
DCS provides fine arts consulting services, and then assists our clients in purchasing desired artwork. We maintain relationships with many major art consultants and dealers, as well as small privately-owned galleries.
• Engineering and other consultant coordination learn more
